Sabe, a high-performance aerodynamics specialist, has relocated its HQ to Bicester Motion, the 444-acre future mobility estate in Oxfordshire.

Sabe has taken 968 sq ft (90 sq m) in Building 92, The Parachute Store, a distinctive heritage building positioned just off Western Avenue at the heart of the estate.

Founded in 2019, Sabe delivers premium aerodynamics consultancy services across simulation, design, testing and performance analysis. With deep roots in Formula 1 and motorsport, the company works across a broad spectrum of high-performance applications, from hypercars and supercars to elite sailing programmes including the America’s Cup.

Sabe has been an integral partner to the Cadillac Formula 1 team since its inception, to support the development of its complete computational fluid dynamics processes and data infrastructure, alongside ongoing aerodynamic performance and correlation work. The company’s offering spans end-to-end aerodynamic services from concept design and simulation through to wind tunnel testing and bespoke software solutions.

The move from Silverstone Park’s innovation centre to Bicester Motion marks a significant milestone for the business, with plans to grow its UK team to 11 by September 2026 and expand internationally.

Dating back to 1926, Building 92 was originally used to hang, dry and inspect parachutes. This unique function has shaped its architectural character, with careful control of ventilation and temperature still evident today through features such as its lobby and distinctive window design. Today, it offers an atmospheric workspace to combine heritage with modern-day functionality as Sabe enters a new phase of growth.

The move also marks a return to Bicester Motion for founder Gerson Garsed-Brand, who briefly worked on-site in a project collaboration with PhysicsX before the company graduated to London. This trajectory reflects the role Bicester Motion plays as a launchpad for high-growth engineering businesses, with Sabe now choosing the estate as the platform for its own next stage of scale.

Gerson Garsed-Brand, founder, Sabe, said:

“Bicester Motion felt like the obvious choice as we enter this next phase of growth supporting our client-base. The location, culture and energy of the place are genuinely unique, and closely aligned with what we do. Being part of a community that lives and breathes automotive and engineering innovation is hugely important for us. The Parachute Store gives us a distinctive base, and we’re looking forward to embedding ourselves within the wider ecosystem here.”

Daniel Geoghegan, chief executive officer at Bicester Motion, added:

“Sabe is a fantastic addition to Bicester Motion and a strong reflection of the calibre of businesses choosing to locate here. Their expertise sits right at the forefront of high-performance engineering, and their work across Formula 1 and beyond speaks for itself.

“The Parachute Store is one of our most characterful buildings, and it’s fitting to see it brought back into active use by a company shaping the future of performance. Sabe’s arrival further strengthens our position as the home of automotive and mobility innovation, where heritage and cutting-edge engineering come together.”

Sabe’s arrival continues the momentum at Bicester Motion, as the estate evolves as a globally recognised cluster for mobility, engineering and advanced manufacturing bringing together pioneering businesses within a setting that combines historic character with future-focused ambition.
